Between 2014 and 2015, I played through Xenoblade Chronicles (for my second time) while recording everything. My goal was to create a giant video archive of the game that I could use for future Legends of Localization reference. At the same time, I also used it as a chance for exercise – every minute of video here was a minute on an exercise bike. I had a further goal of doing the same with the Japanese version of the game, but I have yet to buy a copy of it.

I got very close to the end of the game but never quite finished this playthrough. Even so, I tackled the majority of the game’s quests (even the tedious item collection) and sought out rare text. By luck, I had recorded a key quest that YouTube LP-er chuggaaconroy needed for his Xenoblade project, so this project turned out to be beneficial for someone other than me. So, although it’s not highly organized, I hope these videos can be of use to others out there too, whether it’s checking specific in-game text or figuring out how to complete certain quests.
