What a polite info screen, it even remembers to say "please" at all times. This isn't necessarily a translation issue, but excessive pleases in Japanese stuff / Japanese-to-English translation is a topic that probably deserves a dedicated article of its own sometime

I don't know what a "body party" but I don't want to be invited to one. Also, I checked and it really is "Limit Liberalization" in the original Japanese version. I'm guessing it was intended as something like "limiter release" or "limiter removal"

I'm thinking that the original Japanese font was mostly monospace, meaning only a certain number of characters can fit on a line. And the English translation was done with those same restrictions in place, but then the font was replaced with a proportional font, resulting in weird formatting like this line.
Now THAT'S an e-mail subject line that I never "expetected" to see in a game. Don't show this to the politicians
"as an abbreviate" - I checked and apparently this was indeed a normal noun... in the mid 1500s

This is one of those screenshots that made the rounds years ago when this translation was first released
It's so weird, I've seen the Japanese term 攻略 (kо̄ryaku) translated so many ways in this game that I've lost count. Assault, conquer, penetrate, capture... I know I've seen some more. But this goes to show how even a single Japanese word can end up translated so differently by different people.
By the way, strategy guides are usually called "kо̄ryaku books" in Japanese, so I wonder if someone somewhere ever translated them as "penetration books"
